Belgisch podium voor NL Jeugdrijders!!!
Meer foto’s. De uitslagen. Een fraaie, uitdagende en pittige wedstrijd, die enduro-sprint in het Belgische Chimay. Twee lange proeven en zeven ronden voor de inters en de beloften bracht het proeftijd totaal voor scratchwinnaar en WK rijder Antoine Magain op 1:41:04. Daan Bruijsten deed er 4 minuten langer over en hij reed naar de 10e plaats.
Bij de beloften zaten de NL jeugdrijders al eerder in de top vijf maar nu reed Marc Zomer zelfs naar een keurige derde plaats en Mike Bokslag overwon de vele bulten, kuilen, knippen en knetterharde afhangende bochten voor een 6e plaats.
Dan was er nog voor het eerst de nieuwe Youth klasse. 125 cc zonder rijbewijs en op de aanhanger van proef naar proef. In Chimay was het zelfs lopend te doen. ONK Jeugd cracks Jorn Zoetekouw en Kaiya Brouwer rolden het acht man sterke veld op en ze werden prachtig 1 en 2! En ze hebben meteen Frans geleerd want na het proeven lopen op zaterdag hoorden we ze verzuchten: “NondeJu, wat een proeven.
Die 5 andere Nederlanders die ook enorm veel geleerd hebben, moet ik nog even uit de lijsten vissen.
Meo And Aubert Embrace Classic Enduro Spirit Of Trèfle Lozérien AMV
Wels, Austria – June 15, 2018 — When round three of the World Enduro Super Series stopped in France for the Trèfle Lozérien AMV it attracted the world’s best Enduro riders and also many legends of the sport, including Antoine Meo and Johnny Aubert.
Multi-time world champions and stars of the 2018 Dakar Rally, both Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Meo and Gas Gas Factory Racing’s Aubert gave it their all in France’s most-important Classic Enduro, despite promising that they were only racing for fun. Both former winners of the Trèfle Lozérien AMV, it’s an event that ranks high on their must-do list each year.

WESS: Loic Larrieu Wins WESS Round Three At Trèfle Lozérien AMV
Mende, France – June 10, 2018 — Yamaha’s Loic Larrieu has claimed a home win at round three of the World Enduro Super Series – France’s Trèfle Lozérien AMV.
With the outcome of this year’s overall victory going right down to the 15th and final special test of the three-day race, it was Larrieu who could finally breathe easy after claiming his debut victory at France’s most important Classic Enduro. Pushing him all the way, rising French talent Theo Espinasse claimed second for Sherco Factory Racing, while a day three win for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia (ESP) lifted him to third in the overall classification.

WESS: Albepart Wins Trèfle Lozérien AMV Day Two
Mende, France – June 9, 2018 — The Trèfle Lozérien AMV delivered more dramatic action at the third stop of the World Enduro Super Series as day one winner Marc Bourgeois (Yamaha – FRA) crashed out, allowing Emmanuel Albepart (Yamaha – FRA) to charge to victory. After Bourgeois pushed through for the win on the opening day of racing, his luck turned sour on the second day’s second special test. Albepart took control of the proceedings and provisionally leads the overall standings heading into the third and final day of racing.
