Preview: Second half of the European Enduro Championship

2018-08-06-Battig_Alessandro_I_Kawasaki_[leading overall]After the long summer break, the European Enduro Championship is now entering it’s second half. From 10th to 12th of August, the competition will be held in Skövde/Sweden, where the third of a total of the four events from 2018 is scheduled.
The paddock is centrally located, directly at the Arena Skövde. This is at the same time the place for the two timechecks – the teams do not have to organise an additional support outside.
The three laps start daily from 9:00 a.m., with three special stages to be competed in each case: Two cross tests and a enduro tests, where the finish line is always right next to the starting area.

2 Keer top 10 voor Mathias Van Hoof in Vagney (FR)

MathiasvanHoof-VagneyVoor de 7e en 8e manche van het Belgisch kampioenschap enduro werd er afgereisd naar Vagney in de Franse Vogezen. Op zowel zaterdag als zondag moest er 200 km pittige verbinding worden gereden met 90% offroad en nog eens zoveel stenen, temperaturen boven de 30 graden werd het een ware uitputtingsslag. De twee technische specials op de Franse bergflanken vormden alle ingrediënten voor een prachtige wedstrijd.

Inschrijving NK Jeugd Enduro Eindhoven 2018 geopend

Op zaterdag 8 september 2018 organiseert MAC Veldhoven op circuit “De Landsard” in Eindhoven de NK Jeugd Enduro Eindhoven.
Er wordt tijdens de NK Jeugd Enduro gereden in de volgende klassen:
Max-Schwarte-Jeugdenduro-Eindhoven-2014JE 1 – 85cc 2 takt grote wielen en 150cc 4 takt.
JE 2 – 125cc 2 takt en 250 4 takt.
Daglicentiehouders t/m 20 jaar zonder motorrijbewijs.

Inschrijving: 07.30-08.30 uur
Motor uit PF halen: 08.55 uur
Start jeugdenduro: 09.00 uur

Wade Young Wins Red Bull Romaniacs, WESS Round Four

RBR-podium-Gold-klasseSibiu, Romania – 28 July 2018 — Sherco Factory Racing’s Wade Young (RSA) has claimed victory at the fourth round of the World Enduro Super Series, Red Bull Romaniacs.
Runner-up on the fourth and final off-road day of the world’s toughest Hard Enduro Rallye, Young has etched his name into the history books as the youngest winner of the 15-year running of the race. At the end of an epic week-long battle, he was joined on the podium by Germany’s Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM) and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jonny Walker (GB) in second and third respectively.

Graham-Jarvis in betere tijden Photo_Predrag_VuckovicUiteraard gaf Wade Young het niet meer uit handen op deze grotendeels makkelijker vierde dag. Na 26 uur afzien pakte hij de grootste beker. De 2018 editie als geheel was ouderwets zwaar. Allen de BRONZE route eiste wat minder uitvallers dan in de andere klassen.
