NAMBOTIN & GARCIA WIN ON DAY ONE OF ENDUROGP OF HUNGARY

podium.endurogp.day1_EWC 2017 Rnd 4Claiming his first EnduroGP class win of 2017, Christophe Nambotin (KTM) was the rider to beat on day one of the Maxxis EnduroGP of Hungary where the Frenchman placed close to 22 seconds ahead of EnduroGP series leader Steve Holcombe (Beta) with Loic Larrieu rounding out the podium in third. In the Enduro 2 class Nambotin’s team-mate Josep Garcia (KTM) claimed his fourth win of the championship to come out on top of a close fought battle with Eero Remes (TM) and Jamie McCanney (Yamaha).

Zondag 18 juni werd er op de parking van het Antwerps Bosuil voetbalstadion gestreden om punten van het BK Enduro.

Het was reeds voor het 4de opeenvolgende jaar dat KTM – dealer Racing Center dit evenement op poten wist te zetten. Voor het eerst waren er dit jaar punten te verdienen voor de Beloften en de Inters. Het was met gemengde gevoelens dat het gros van de Inters naar Deurne trok, want het vergelijk met een klassieke enduro is ver te zoeken.

GP Maxxis Hungary Preview: Back to Hungary… 23 years later!

jamie.mccanney_EWC 2017 Rnd 2Almost one month after the third round of the 2017 Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship in Spoleto, Italy, the EnduroGP series continues its journey to Parádfürdő, Hungary some 100 km from Budapest.

A young and enthusiastic organizer

“At first it was a dream, but everything became real.” These words expressed by Adam HADOBAS, President of the Mátra Extrem Kft and organizer of this Hungarian event, really reflect the club’s enthusiasm for hosting a round of the EnduroGP World Championship. Needing to go back 23 years to the last round of the series held in Hungary, in 1994 in Cserénfa, it was a historic event for this small country and a huge boost to the sport of enduro.

KTM´S ALFREDO GOMEZ WINS 2017 ERZBERGRODEO RED BULL HARE SCRAMBLE

Erzbergrodeo 2017_Alfredo GomezCarrying impressive form into the 23rd running of the Erzbergrodeo, Alfredo Gomez secured the biggest win of his career by reaching the finish of the Red Bull Hare Scramble ahead of Graham Jarvis and Cody Webb. Completing the grueling 25 check point course aboard his KTM 300 EXC in a time of 2 hours and 17 minutes, Gomez steadily worked his way forwards before being the first rider to tackle the hardest sections of the course on his way to a deserved victory.

Walker Finishes Fifth At ErzbergRodeo 2017

jonny.walker_erzbergrodeo 2017Jonny Walker has earned a fifth-place result at the 23rd running of the ErzbergRodeo Red Bull Hare Scramble. Setting a strong pace and leading during the majority of the first hour of the race, Jonny found his performance during the latter stages of the race hampered by a specific tyre choice, which frustratingly didn’t go the way he’d hoped. Nevertheless, battling hard all the way to the finish he placed just five minutes from the podium and as the third of three KTM Enduro Factory Racing team riders to finish inside the top five.
