McCanney Gets First GP Victory & Larrieu Secures Double Podium Result In Hungary
With the long-awaited EnduroGP of Hungary taking place under warm and dry conditions, Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro Team riders Loïc Larrieu and Jamie McCanney were strong contenders for victory in their respective classes throughout the weekend.
In the premier Enduro GP category, Loïc enjoyed an impressive race pace from the start and kept battling for the top step of the podium until the end of each day. Claiming two third place results, he remains second in the class’ standings and will continue battling for the coveted title in the second half of the season.

NAMBOTIN CLAIMS DOUBLE ENDUROGP CLASS WIN AT GP OF HUNGARY
Fourth in class during the Friday night Super Test, Nambotin wasted no time in getting up to speed on day one in Hungary as he posted the fastest times in both the opening extreme and enduro tests. Going on to top a further three special tests the Frenchman ended the day with a deserved first EnduroGP class win of 2017. On day two, despite continued pressure from team-mate Nathan Watson, Nambotin put his experience to good use to complete the perfect GP with a second day win.

TE 250 MOUNTED ENDURO 2 CLASS RIDER DANNY MCCANNEY SECURES HARD-FOUGHT FOURTH ON DAY TWO
Round four of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship proved to be a challenging one for the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team, despite the return of Mathias Bellino to the squad following injury. Enduro 2 class rider Danny McCanney claimed the team’s best result with a fourth-place result on day two.

NAMBOTIN DOES THE ENDUROGP CLASS DOUBLE IN HUNGARY WHILE JAMIE MCANNEY TOPS ENDURO 2
Just as he did on day one of the Maxxis EnduroGP of Hungary, KTM’s Christophe Nambotin claimed EnduroGP class victory to complete a perfect weekend in Paradfürdo for the Frenchman. Pushed every step of the way by team-mate Nathan Watson,
Nambo placed less than five seconds ahead of the Brit with Loic Larrieu (Yamaha) a further three-and-a-half seconds further back in third. EnduroGP championship leader Steve Holcombe (Beta) placed fourth.
