Enjoying an eight-point lead at the top of the provisional standings the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rally star is aiming for a good overall result at the five-stage event, which he hopes will allow him to secure the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship title for a third consecutive year.

CHILE’S SPORTS MINISTER AND VIÑA DEL MAR’S MAYOR OFFICIALLY LAUNCH FIM INTERNATIONAL SIX DAYS ENDURO (ISDE) TAKING PLACE NOVEMBER 12TH TO 17TH 2018

VIÑA DEL MAR, Chile, September 26th, 2018: A total of 30 countries and 600 riders will participate in the 93rd version of FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) between November 12th to 17th in Viña del Mar, city located 120 kilometers away from Santiago, on the Pacific Ocean coast.

The event and competition formats were officially presented on Wednesday, September 26th at the Enjoy Casino in Viña del Mar with the presence of the Chilean Sports Minister, Pauline Kantor; the mayor of Viña del Mar, Virginia Reginato; the ambassador of the Six Days in Chile, Francisco “Chaleco” López, and regional authorities.

With a new double win on the X-Rocks Enduro Test this weekend, his 5th consecutive victory and his 7th of the season, the Factory Beta rider will hold the Mika Ahola “Brave One” Trophy belt for a second consecutive year! This is the very first rider, since the creation of this trophy in 2012, who has won the belt twice…

NIEUWE BRAND MANAGER HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES NEDERLAND

Norman-VerbeekNorman Veerbeek (33) is de nieuwe Brand Manager van Husqvarna Motorcycles Nederland. Hij volgt per 1 oktober daarmee Amel Advokaat op. Norman zal de verkoop, marketing en evenementen onder zijn hoede nemen.
Voor wie thuis is in Freestyle Motorcross (FMX) zal de naam Norman Veerbeek niet onbekend zijn: hij organiseerde en reed vijf jaar lang met zijn FMX-team shows binnen en buiten Nederland. Hij mag zich de eerste en tot nu toe enige Nederlander noemen die een backflip maakte, en tevens de eerste Nederlander die meer dan 150 meter over water heeft gereden. Daarna is hij actief geweest in de organisatie van grote evenementen en festivals zoals Lowlands en als Project Manager bij een groot internationaal bedrijf.

Shrewsbury, England – 23 September 2018 — Spain’s Josep Garcia (KTM) has put in a dominant display of riding at the Hawkstone Park Cross-Country to claim a start-to-finish victory at round six of the World Enduro Super Series. Firmly stamping his authority on the proceedings, the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider continued on his winning performance from Saturday’s qualifying Sprint Enduro to charge to the top step of the podium in Sunday’s Original Fast Eddy Cross-Country, securing his first win of the 2018 WESS series.
