Bas Klein Haneveld van het Altop Husqvarna team heeft in het Duitse Dahlen een goede start gemaakt in het wereldkampioenschap enduro. Dit jaar is er een nieuwe klasse in het leven geroepen bij de WK’s om het zo voor de Privateers aantrekkelijker te maken om van start te gaan in een wedstrijd om het wereldkampioenschap. Om een complete competitie van het wereldkampioenschap te rijden zijn er 7 wedstrijden en dit maakt het voor Privateers erg lastig doordat het erg veel tijd en geld kost. In deze nieuwe Open World Cup klasse is het mogelijk om voor een kampioenschap te gaan door 4 van de 7 wedstrijden (naar keuze) te rijden, wat het een stuk aantrekkelijker maakt.

Stephane PETERHANSEL, « Ambassador of EnduroGP » !
A brand new initiative from ABC Communication sees the creation of an “EnduroGP Ambassadors Group”. This will bring together former prestigious champions from different countries who have made their mark on the history of World Enduro with their talent and charisma.
These champions are all strong supporters of traditional Enduro, which has brought them so much during their careers. Throughout this season, we will meet these ambassadors who will represent the sport during the various Grand Prix.

EnduroGP: Steve HOLCOMBE Unstoppable
After an eventful first day, the EnduroGP stars were back on track for another day of competition in Dahlen. The tests had been significantly ‘cut up’ after so many competitors riding on the first day, and therefore this second day offered up a lot of surprises.
Steve HOLCOMBE (GBR-Beta) did not have the same disadvantage as Day 1, where he had to open the tests. With the course well ‘bedded in’, the reigning EnduroGP Champion got into his rhythm immediately.
EnduroGP Dahlen: A New Era Begins !
Nearly five months after the crowning of the overall champion, Steve HOLCOMBE (GB – Beta), the 2019 EnduroGP season will start where the previous year finished; in Germany! The 162 entrants will tackle one of the country’s oldest races, the “Rund Um Dahlen”!
A Historic Race
The MSC Dahlen eV im ADAC run by Lars SCHOLZ, supported by the DMSB, made it a point of honour to organize an international level race in less than five months. The EnduroGP opener coincide with the 60th edition of the “Rund Um Dahlen”, one of the oldest races in Germany. It is therefore a serious and experienced Moto Club that will put on this challenging and spectacular show. MSC Dahlen have created an 85-kilometre long course
Bas Klein Haneveld maakt een positief begin in het ONK Enduro
Bas Klein Haneveld heeft de eerste wedstrijd om het Open Nederlands Kampioenschap Enduro in Holten op positieve wijze af weten te sluiten. Vooral in de tweede ronde ging het lekker en hieruit put Klein Haneveld vertrouwen voor de komende wedstrijden.
In de winterperiode is Bas flink aan het zoeken geweest naar een nieuwe sponsor omdat Husqvarna Nederland half december geheel onverwacht de sponsoring stop heeft gezet. ‘’Voor mij was dit een zware domper maar toch kan ik terug kijken op een fijne samenwerking die drie jaar stand heeft gehouden. Gelukkig kwam ik al vrij snel in contact met Altop Kunststoftechniek uit Loerbeek en zij waren bereid mij een zitje aan te bieden, waar ik hun heel erg dankbaar voor ben,’’ vertelt Bas.
