ISDE SPAIN: Day One – USA Take World Trophy Team Lead

isde_day1_redondiAt the end of the first day’s competition at the 91st edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain the USA have taken an early lead in the World Trophy Team competition, just as they did at last year’s event in Slovakia. Helped by overall runner-up and third place results from team members Kailub Russell – KTM and Taylor Robert – KTM, the USA team sit twenty-six seconds ahead of Italy with Great Britain third at this point.

Spain ready to welcome 91st edition of the ISDE

2016ev10_spain-readyThe ninety-first edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) is set to take place in Navarra from 11th to 16th October when the event returns to Spain for the first time since 2000. Held then in Granada where Italy and Spain won the World Trophy and Junior World Trophy categories respectively, this time around twenty-two World Trophy teams, twenty Junior Trophy teams, seven Women’s Trophy teams and more than three hundred and eighty Club team riders will take to the start of this iconic event being held in the north east of the country.

Cervantes ready to lead Spain at home ISDE

ivan_cervantesOn Tuesday 11th October the FIM International Six Day Enduro (ISDE), the longest running FIM off road motorcycle competition, will begin in Navarra, Spain. For one rider in particular the event will be a truly memorable occasion. Ivan Cervantes – KTM, Spain’s most successful international enduro racer with five FIM World titles and one overall ISDE victory – will compete in what will be both his first and last ISDE on home soil.

The 2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) that will take place from Tuesday 11 October to Sunday 16 October at the Circuito Navarra, Spain has made a strong start to its planning process with a good level of pre-entries that currently sits just short of seven hundred riders in total. 

This impressive line-up is led by the Australian national teams who will be present in Spain to defend their titles in the FIM World Trophy class, the FIM Junior World Trophy class and the FIM Women’s World Trophy class.
