The final day of competition at the 2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain saw the USA World Trophy team make history as Taylor Robert – KTM, Kailub Russell – KTM, Thad Duvall – Husqvarna and eleventh hour replacement rider Layne Michael – Husqvarna claimed their nation’s first ever class win. Sweden and Australia were the day’s other big winners as Mikael Persson – Yamaha, Albin Elowson – Husqvarna and Jesper Borjesson – Husqvarna secured the Junior World Trophy win for Sweden while Jessica Gardiner – Yamaha, Tayla Jones – Yamaha and Jemma Wilson – Yamaha claimed a fourth consecutive Women’s World Trophy team win for Australia.

2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro – Day Five – Spain and Italy struggle while USA head towards World Trophy
Day five of the 91st running of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain served up yet more drama as Italy’s hopes of challenging the USA for the World Trophy team win ended no sooner than the day had begun. Crashing heavily in the opening special test Manuel Monni – TM was forced to retire from the event with a broken right hand. Team USA now sit close to four minutes clear of second placed Great Britain. In the Junior World Trophy competition everything is still to play for as at the end of the penultimate day just twenty-six seconds separates class leaders Sweden from the USA.

Day four of the 91st running of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain saw some of the closest competition of the event so far. Starting off wet following overnight rain and ending with clear skies and a return to dusty conditions, just fourteen seconds separated World Trophy team winners Italy from the USA who were runners-up on the day. Rider retirements in both the World Trophy and Junior World Trophy classes saw significant changes in the results with Portugal dropping from fifth to fourteenth in the World Trophy class and Great Britain from sixth to fourteenth in the Junior World Trophy contest.
2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro – Day Three – USA battle through the rain to extend World Trophy team lead
Day three of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain served up some very different riding conditions as rain both prior to and during the day resulted in a slippery and demanding seven hours in the saddle for all competitors. Despite the change in weather the USA’s World Trophy team continued their battle with Italy as Kailub Russell – KTM, Layne Michael – Husqvarna, Taylor Robert – KTM and Thad Duvall – Husqvarna extended their lead to just over one and a half minutes. In the Junior World Trophy competition Sweden remain out front, just under two minutes ahead of the USA with Italy third. Australia continue to lead the Women’s World Trophy.
2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro – Day Two – USA Extend World Trophy Team Lead
At the end of day two of the 2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain team USA extended their lead in the World Trophy classification, following another hard-fought battle with Italy. The competition was extremely close between the three leading nations – USA, Italy and Spain – with just ten seconds separating them come the end of the day’s racing. Helped by an impressive, near day winning performance from Taylor Robert – KTM the four-rider USA squad are now placed thirty-two seconds ahead of Italy in the overall class classification.
