Toch verrassingen op de tweede dag in Griekenland. Remes werd op zaterdag inderdaad gediskwalificeerd maar won nu de E1; twee seconden voor Nambotin. In de E2 viel Salvini uit terwijl hij aan de leiding lag met nog twee proeven te gaan; Meo won ruim voor Renet. In de E3 pakte jonkie Matthew Phillips zijn eerste dagwinst, maar liefst 27 seconden sneller dan leider Cervantes. Hij deed dat met een 3e scratchtijd dus daar gaan we nog meer van horen.

Cervantes, Nambotin and Renet Victorious On Day One At GP of Greece
Epic battles throughout all classes saw an explosive start to the FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship GP Maxxis of Greece in Kalambaka. In front of the world famous monastic heritage sites of the peaceful and picturesque Kalambaka, the world’s best enduro riders battled for victory. Remaining unbeaten in the championship to date, the KTM duo of Ivan CERVANTES and Christophe NAMBOTIN won their respective Enduro 3 and Enduro 1 categories. Husqvarna’s Pela RENET emerged from a titanic four-rider battle as the winner of the Enduro 2 class.

EWC Griekenland: zaterdag
79 rijders inclusief 14 Grieken werkten in Kalambaka vier ronden af en kwamen zo tot 1:15 uur proeftijd (of meer). Winst was er voor Nambotin (E1), Renet (E2) en Cervantes (E3). Volledige uitslag. Eero Remes (foto) werd derde in de E1; hij had kennelijk niet genoeg aan 15 minuten sleuteltijd of was die mousse een beetje te warm geworden in de Griekse zon?

Developed by Fabrizio BRUNOZZI (Programmer), in association with Infomega and Bastien BLANCHARD (ABC Communication), this application named “Enduro Live” will permit you to follow each Grand Prix as if you were there because of the “Live Results”.
