FIM-Europe: European Enduro Championship First day in Rieti

The overall champion from last year, the Italian Maurizio Micheluz, won the first day of the season-opener in Rieti (Italy) in front of the French Benoit Fortunato. This shows that the small motors have been the fastest in the tests, because both riders used the 250cc-motorbikes.
Third in the overall ranking was British rider Tom Sagar, two places in front of the German Marco Neubert – both riding in the E2-class and so Sagar won the class in the last lap.

World Enduro Championship Preview Enduro 2

The Big Category !
Not so many changes this year in the « Big » category of the medium engines (250 2 strokes and 450 4 strokes) with only the departure of Lorenzo SANTOLINO (E – Sherco) in Enduro 1 and the arrival of Deny PHILIPPAERTS (I – Beta) and Loïc LARRIEU (F – Sherco) and also some young guns with long teeth. Once again, the E2 Class will be played between four great riders: Alex SALVINI (I – Honda) and the French trio Pierre-Alexandre RENET (HVA), Antoine MEO (KTM) and Johnny AUBERT (Beta)…

Het EK enduro komt er aan !!!

It is countdown to the Enduro-European-Championship: The start is in Italy, beginning on 11th and 12th of April. Rieti is less than 100 km north-east from the capital Rome and has already prepared. More than 200 people are registered in the various classes of the European-Championship, right now – including the reigning champion of all classes, Maurizio Micheluz. The winner of the “overall” switched onto a Husqvarna and will have a home-race in Italy. So he is still one of the big favourites.
