After a vigorous start in March, it took a few month till the Enduro European-Championship (EEC) arrived to the second round: On 30thand 31st of July 2016 the next competition starts in Ogre /Latvia. Already the European round has been there in 2012 the first time, with a very well organized race.

Bas Klein Haneveld maakt rentree in de competitie tijdens het EK Enduro in Letland
Het was de afgelopen tijd even stil rondom Husqvarna-rijder Bas Klein Haneveld. Gelukkig kunnen we u nu melden dat het erg goed met hem gaat. Begin april kwam de rijder uit Vorden tijdens een wedstrijd om het Nederlands Kampioenschap MX1 in Westerbork ten val en viel hierbij zijn heup uit de kom! De laatste weken heeft hij via de enduroselectie van de KNMV heel nauw samengewerkt met Sportmedisch Centrum Papendal. De doelstelling was om zo goed en snel mogelijk te herstellen. Dit heeft Bas erg goed gedaan en hij heeft hier hard kunnen werken aan zijn herstel.

The holidays are finally here for the EnduroGP paddock! Now it’s time for sunbathing on the beach, travelling and adventures, or training on jetskis and bicycles. But first, let’s look back at the penultimate Grand Prix of the season, masterfully put on by the Moto Club Artiglio of Attigio.
Steve Holcombe wins day two of Acerbis GP of Italy
Steve HOLCOMBE (Beta) has claimed the outright EnduroGP class victory on day two of the Acerbis GP of Italy, ending the penultimate round of the series ahead of Finn Eero REMES (TM) and Frenchman Loic LARRIEU (Yamaha). Battling throughout the day with REMES, the young Brit kept his nerve to claim his fourth overall win of the championship to date. EnduroGP championship leader Matt PHILLIPS (Sherco) saw his day end in disappointment as the Tasmanian was forced to retire with a mechanical issue.

EnduroGP Italy: Nambotin back on top, Redondi & Edmondson crowned world champions
At the end of a day filled with drama there was delight for Christophe NAMBOTIN (KTM), Giacomo REDONDI (Honda) and Jack EDMONDSON (KTM) on the first day of competition at the Acerbis EnduroGP of Italy. Returning to his very best following a torrid season, NAMBOTIN secured the overall EnduroGP class win while Giacomo REDONDI finally secured the Enduro Junior world championship title, in front of his home fans. Jack EDMONDSON wrapped up the Enduro Youth title.
