Nederlandse enduro top op jacht naar succes in het Europees Kampioenschap Enduro in Harfsen

Op 28 en 29 oktober valt de beslissing om het Europees Kampioenschap Enduro in het Gelderse Harfsen. De Stichting Motorsport Harfsen heeft dit jaar alles opzij gezet en al haar peilen gericht om deze endurowedstrijd op hoog niveau te organiseren. Er worden in deze wedstrijden niet alleen punten verdient voor het Europees Kampioenschap maar tegelijkertijd wordt er ook gestreden voor de punten om het Open Nederlands Kampioenschap.

De Nederlanders zijn sterk vertegenwoordigd in het Europees Kampioenschap. Na drie wedstrijden hebben we met Thierry Pittens (3e in E1) en Peter Lenselink (3e bij de veteranen) twee Nederlanders die op jacht gaan naar een top drie positie in hun klasse. Ook Nina Klink is nog volop in de running voor een top drie plaats bij de dames.

EK Harfsen: de jacht op het podium is geopend!!!

Maar liefst 18 Nederlanders kiezen voor een EK start bij de finale in Harfsen op 28 en 29 oktober. En wat zou het mooi zijn als dat de nodige podiumplaatsen gaat opleveren. Bij de vorige EK in Letland lukte het al aan Thierry Pittens (E1 winnaar) en Lucas Dolfing (E3 derde).
Hieronder de lijst. De heren en dames rijden overigens tegelijk voor de ONK punten. Voor het ONK moet je inschrijven en betalen voor 20 oktober. KLIK.

FIM Europe: the official calendar European Enduro-Championship 2017

Last weekend the FIM Europe Management Council has confirmed the new dates of the European Enduro Championship 2017:
– the three-day-final in Slovakia switched and will be held from 13^th to 15^th of October in Slovakia.

All the competitions will come from Portugal in the April over Estonia in July and Germany in August to the three-day-final in Slovakia in October.
Although many more nations asked for a competition, the championship will stay with four rounds, to make it possible for most of the riders.

2017:
8^th /9^th of April Gouveia / Portugal
8^th/ 9^th of July Paikuse / Estonia
5^th/6^th of August Burg / Germany
13^th to 15^th of October Gelnica / Slovakia

This year still the final has to take place in Harfsen at Friday and Saturday, the 28^th and 29^th of October. None titel in any class is decided yet – all decisions have to fall on this weekend.

EnduroGP: A Grand Finale!

Just days after the paddock saw the double crowning of Matthew PHILLIPS (AUS – Sherco) in EnduroGP and E2, we look back on an emotional AMV Grand Prix of France..

Paying Tribute
Moments after the closing ceremony of the 2016 Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship, some of the top stars of the sport (Matthew PHILLIPS, Laia SANZ, Johnny AUBERT and Mathias BELLINO) went to visit all the volunteers from the Cahors Trials Club… just as the dedicated crew were about to celebrate the end of the Grand Prix over a meal, the stars of the EnduroGP rewarded them with a surprise meeting – and each rider gave a speech heaping praise on the club for their work throughout the week!

EnduroGP: Mika Ahola « Brave One » Trophy

REMES, A Worthy Successor!
The Enduro Test at the Grand Prix AMV of France was shorter than most during the season, but that did not stop the winner from putting in a dominant performance. Located in the small village of St Pierre la Feuille in the hills above Cahors, this last Enduro Test of the season was very popular, with huge numbers of spectators. And for the first time in the history of the Mika Ahola “Brave One” Trophy it is a Finn who walks away with the belt – Eero REMES (TM)!
