Bacau the Second
This is not only the second round of the season in Bacau, Romania, this coming weekend, 19-20 May 2018, but also the second time that the European Enduro Championship will stop there.
Already in 2014 the riders were guests in the northeastern part of Romania and had found there a demanding and well prepared enduro competition by the lokal X-cape-organisation for these two days.

JET Racing rider Alex SALVINI got his weekend off to a great start on Friday evening at the Polisport Grand Prix of Portugal’s Akrapovic Super Test and ended it on a high this afternoon in Castelo Branco on this very same Super Test course, giving us a dramatic finale full of emotions. Indeed it was the first time that the Super Test (a short and technical special where the riders run head-to-head) was organised as the final special test of a Grand Prix… and the idea paid off on all levels with a big crowd who came to enjoy the fight in the city center – a grand finale of a day disputed in the heat and dust of Portugal’s tests.
The stars of EnduroGP have experienced everything during the first three Grand Prix of the season… from the snow and cold during the mythical Päijänne Enduro (Finland), then the torrenting rain, cold, and mud last week in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), before they suffered in the heat (27 degrees) and dust during the first day of the Polisport Grand Prix of Portugal in Castelo Branco.

HOLCOMBE Sails Through…
The locals will tell you… the weather in Galicia is very changeable! And on the last Sunday in April, the heavens opened and poured torrents of water, and sometimes even hail, on the second day of the 2018 Spanish World Enduro Grand Prix. Which, you can imagine, made life difficult for even the elite riders in the discipline – juggling fast pace against quagmires, puddles, and extremely slippery and tricky terrain.
A little more than a month after the season opener in the cold and snow of the legendary “Lake Päijänne”, the EnduroGP paddock moves on for the first half of the traditional ‘Iberian tour’ – Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia, north-west Spain!
For the very first time in the history of the FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship, the Spanish Grand Prix will be organised by the Moto Club Movete Na Moto of Lalin with support from the national federation, the RFME.
