The FIM Enduro & Rally Commission took advantage of the moment on Thursday in Heinola on the the final of the European Enduro Championship: Almost all members of the commission were present and so the Chairman Marco Bolzonello (Italy) had invited to an extraordinary meeting.
In particular, the two guests, Enduro promoter Wolfgang Butzner and the Enduro press officer, spoke about the future of Enduro racing and the development of the number of participants beyond the coming year.
Bolzonello then discussed with the members Pavol Sas (Slovakia), Robert Svensson (Sweden), Artus Robeznieks (Latvia) and Hannu Häkkälä (Finland) the regulations and implementation of the events Rallye, Cross-Country and Bajas for the coming year.

FIM Europe: Enduro-Championship – Finale without leading rider Kouble after injury
Leading Kouble crashed in training
The Czech driver Krystof Kouble, leader of the European Enduro Championship, broke his thigh during a training crash.
After the necessary surgery he is still in hospital and will not start at the finals of the championship in Heinola, Finland (this weekend)
Therefore he will not be able to win the championship.

EnduroGP: Track Review Ambert Finale 27-29 september
As promised, the route of the GP Acerbis of France in Ambert will be the icing on the cake after a season full of great races and epic performances.
Owing to its multi-annual experience in organizing races and top-notch events, the Moto Club Livradois managed to create a track which is really exciting for both, the racers and the fans. The Special Tests will take place not only close to one another, but also never far from the paddock.

EnduroGP: Meeting with Tullio
Desio, a few kilometres from Milan, Honda Red Moto headquarters.
Tullio PELLEGRINELLI was able to transform his passion for off-road into a job. An exceptional rider, he won two Enduro World Championships and an incredible three Six Days, an absolute record. He then managed to help other great riders, the unforgotten Mike AHOLA and Alex SALVINI, win five and one World Championships respectively.
Today, Tullio is Sports Director of the Factory Honda World Red Moto Team and he is also in charge of the homologation for all Red Moto motorcycles distributed in Europe.
His job is to optimise the riders’ performance.
EnduroGP: Maurizio Micheluz – A Rider for Riders
“I believe that an Enduro competition is one of the most complicated events to organise.”
Maurizio Micheluz is a rider, but, since 2015, he is also FIM’s Race Inspector for the Enduro competitions. He tells us how it is not at all easy to put together around 60 kilometres of off-road, and plan special tests, all of which requires necessary authorisations to make the events happen.
“Not to mention ISDE, when the kilometres are roughly doubled for three different racecourses.”
Maurizio is part of the Race Commission, which also includes Pedro Mariano, FIM’s Race Director, and the national Race Director.
