De organiserende stichting “Enduro & Offroad Motorsport Houtigehage” is sinds deze week ook aangesloten bij de MON motorsportbond.
Onze ritten/races zijn nu aangemeld/verzekerd bij zowel de KNMV als de MON en hierdoor toegankelijk voor licentiehouders van beide bonden.
Crosscountry races worden steeds populairder en met ingang van dit motorsport seizoen is er ook een gezamenlijk nieuw crosscountry regelement van beide bonden.
Hierdoor stelt het Piepercross Westerkwartier comité nu nog meer licentie-houders in staat deel om deel te nemen aan onze ritten.
En tevens kunnen rijders zonder start licentie nu ook gebruik maken van de gunstige MON dagpas voorwaarden (€15,-)

Garcia Claims Double EnduroGP Win in Portugal
There was double delight for Josep Garcia (KTM) at round five of the Borilli FIM EnduroGP World Championship, where the Spaniard won the second day of competition at the TERRA ÚNICA GP of Portugal. In doing so he secured EnduroGP victory on both days of the event. Sweden’s Albin Norrbin (Fantic) became the first World Champion of the 2021 series as he wrapped up the Enduro Youth class with a win.
EnduroGP – A Two-Horse Race
After yesterday’s dominant EnduroGP class win by Garcia at the TERRA ÚNICA GP of Portugal, the KTM rider was forced to work much harder for the top step of the podium on day two. Although off to a flying start by winning the opening NERVE by JUST1 Extreme Test, he faced a much tougher challenge from points leader Brad Freeman (Beta) throughout the day.

Super dagje in Portugal vandaag. In de 1e proef wat minder begonnen en een fout gemaakt waarbij ik mijn enkel weer bezeerd heb. Verder ging het steeds beter en heb ik de laatste twee proeven van de dag weten te winnen. Uiteindelijk eindigde ik op de 3e plaats met 8 seconden achter de 2e plaats🔥

Garcia Dominates Day One At The TERRA ÚNICA GP of Portugal
The opening day of competition at round five of the Borilli FIM EnduroGP World Championship saw Josep Garcia (KTM) claim a commanding victory in Portugal. With EnduroGP roaring back into life following its summer break, Spaniard Garcia was quickest to hit the ground running on day one of the TERRA ÚNICA GP of Portugal as he rode clear of his rivals to claim both the EnduroGP and Enduro 2 category wins.
The Junior Enduro class saw a new winner emerge with Finland’s Roni Kytonen (Honda) excelling in the sandy conditions to top the standings, while Sweden’s Albin Norrbin (Fantic) extended his Youth Enduro championship lead by claiming his sixth consecutive victory.
