In a little over twelve months time Spain will have the great honour of hosting the 91st edition of the FIM International Six Days’ Enduro (ISDE), as the oldest competition in the international calendar that will take place at the Circuito de Navarra. This now established motorsport facility, situated near Los Arcos in the Navarra region of Northern Spain, which was first opened back in 2010 will welcome riders from a wide range of nations come next October.
The Circuito de Navarra will form the headquarters of the 2016 ISDE and will use its permanent infrastructure to provide facilities such as the medical centre, the paddock and parc-ferme, the media centre and also the cross test on the final day.
This will be only the fourth time that Spain has held the ISDE in the long history of this very important competition, the first occasion being in Escorial in 1970, before the event then returned to Alp in 1985 and then for the last time previously in 2000 when the event was held in Granada. Once again the event will be held under the aegis of RFME.
The Spanish moto club “SIP Sport Club” and the joint promoters Al Kamel Systems and BaSSella Experiences are looking forward to the challenge of hosting this prestigious event and to welcoming the riders, teams and their supporters from around the World to the region of Navarra.
More details about the 2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro – #FIMISDE2016 – will be released in due course, following the official launch of the event in Kosice, Slovakia on Friday 4th September 2015.
