Bron FIM. The Slovak Motorcycling Federation has taken up the challenge of organising one of the most prestigious motorcycle events in the world: the FIM International Six Days’ Enduro (ISDE)!
This spectacular motorcycling event takes place in a different host country every year, and for decades it has been generating enormous interest among professional riders and fans of Enduro racing. In September 2015, after an absence of ten years, this internationally renowned elite motorcycling competition returns to Slovakia for its 90th edition. This will be the fifth time in its history that it is held in this country, and for the first time, the city of Košice will be the host city. Under the auspices of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the “Metropolis of the East” will be welcoming more than 450 riders from over 30 countries from around the world. Košice, the second-largest city in Slovakia and proud bearer of the title “European Capital of Culture 2013”, thus has another opportunity to show off its dynamic atmosphere and exceptional beauty, and will once again attract visitors not only from Slovakia but also from abroad. Not only Košice itself, but the wider region of Eastern Slovakia has a huge amount to offer. Apart from top-quality Enduro tracks, the organisers will be preparing a rich programme of background events for the visitors, enabling them to get to know the city and the region as a whole.
More information about the races, the competing teams and the accompanying programme will be available soon.
