\"EK<\/a>Today the second day of the Enduro European Championship Round 2 was held in Paikuse,\u00a0Estonia and the overall victory was taken by the young Italian rider Matteo Pavoni (KTM,) who also won the Junior E1 class.
\nThe weather was very favourable for enduro riding today as well \u2013 it rained slightly at night\u00a0and in the morning, most of the day was cloudy and the heat did not frighten the riders.
\n\u201cI had a very good day today. I made no mistakes and had no technical problems\u201c, Pavoni said\u00a0at the finish line. \u201cWinning is a fantastic feeling!\u201c
\nThe local rider from the class Senior E3 Rannar Uusna (KTM) on the other hand did\u00a0not have so good a day as yesterday. He took the fifth place in his class on the second day\u00a0and was 11th overall. \u201cOn the Enduro Test there was a place where I made a mark for myself\u00a0that this is no place to crash \u2013 but I got stuck particularly hard just there. After two crashes\u00a0in the Enduro Test I could not find the right rhythm any more,\u201c Uusna said. \u201cI had one more\u00a0crash so the day was not so good. At least yesterday I got some good points for the European\u00a0Championship\u201c.<\/p>\n

The fastest time today was by Pavoni 43:30.6. The second best result in the overall classification\u00a0was by the Finnish rider Lari Jukola, who was second in the Junior E1 class and was 16\u00a0seconds slower than Pavoni. The third best time belonged to Dennis Shroeter (Germany) who\u00a0also won the Senior E3 class and lost 25 seconds from the overall winner.
\nThe competition in the Senior E3 class was very close, the four fastest riders were all inside\u00a010 seconds. The Italian Oscar\u00a0Balletti \u00a0was second\u00a0today as well as yesterday, and the Finn Aleksi Jukola was third.
\nThe length of the mostly sandy\u00a0track in Paikuse was 62 km and\u00a0it had two Cross Tests, one Enduro\u00a0Test and 2 Time Checks.
\nThe riders, teams and the FIM\u00a0Europe Jury was very pleased\u00a0with the organisation of the\u00a0event and the overall opinion\u00a0was that European Enduro needs\u00a0a variety of tracks and conditions\u00a0and Paikuse was a great\u00a0addition to the mix.
