Once again, a big heat will welcome the riders that are all back from a winter preparation.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>FIM <\/strong>has awarded the\u00a0<strong>Federacion de Motociclisme de Chile <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Abascal Produccion <\/strong>the honour of hosting the first round of what is expected to be a thrilling season. This federation, with\u00a0<strong>Jose Tomas DIAZ<\/strong> as President have a wealth of experience. Indeed, she has been a part of the organizers of the 2011 to 2015 Dakar, has welcomed the ISDE in 2007 in La Serena and has of course hosted the EWC in 2012 and 2013. On his side, the organizers\u00a0<strong>Rodrigo ABASCAL<\/strong> is great fervent of the Enduro and was at the origin of the coming of the EWC in Chile.<\/p>\n<p><strong>South America happy to see the EWC again<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nThe\u00a0<strong>Federacion Motociclisme de Chile<\/strong> (<strong>FMC<\/strong>) and\u00a0<strong>Rodrigo ABASCAL<\/strong> have prepared a track which will be ridden three times each day during the two days of competition. Each lap will feature two Time Checks. The paddock will be situated once again in the centre of\u00a0<strong>Talca <\/strong>on the \u201c<strong>Mall Plaza Maule<\/strong>\u201d. The<strong>Enduro Test<\/strong> as the\u00a0<strong>Cross Test <\/strong>will take place in\u00a0<strong>Maitenhuapi<\/strong>. The\u00a0<strong>Xtreme Test<\/strong> will be located in the\u00a0<strong>Bosque Municipal <\/strong>while Friday night\u2019s\u00a0<strong>KTM Super Test<\/strong> will run at the\u00a0<strong>Gimnasio Municipal<\/strong>. The tracks, trails and special tests are expected to be very dry, dusty, challenging and rocky and had caused some damaged to some favourites in the past.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Talca <\/strong>is situated in the province of the same name and is the capital of the\u00a0<strong>Maule <\/strong>region. This charming city, has a more than 201 797 inhabitant, is located in a highly seismic region as the stars of the EWC have experienced last year. It is 250 km South of\u00a0<strong>Santiago<\/strong>, the capital of the country. It is crossed by the Pan-American Highway that starts in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and finishes in Ushuaia, Argentina.\u00a0<strong>Talca <\/strong>is also one of Chile\u2019s better-known wine growing regions.<\/p>\n<p>With once again more than 100 competitors entered for the event, the Enduro World Championship is set to start in spectacular fashion and in one of the world\u2019s most picturesque places.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7 months to wait!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every EWC stars are ready to race on the South American track.\u00a0<strong>Christophe NAMBOTIN (F \u2013 KTM)<\/strong>is the big favorite for his own succession in the\u00a0<strong>E1<\/strong>. But the three time World Champion will have to face\u00a0<strong>Eero REMES (SF \u2013 TM)<\/strong> and the brand new Yamaha official rider\u00a0<strong>Cristobal GUERRERO (E \u2013 KTM)<\/strong> that will look for their first World title. The Spanish\u00a0<strong>Lorenzo SANTOLINO (E \u2013 Sherco)<\/strong>, The Junior World Champion\u00a0<strong>Daniel MCCANNEY (GB \u2013 Husqvarna)<\/strong>, the French\u00a0<strong>Marc BOURGEOIS (F \u2013 Yamaha)<\/strong> and the Italian\u00a0<strong>Simone ALBERGONI (I \u2013 HM Honda) <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Rudy MORONI (I \u2013 Sherco)<\/strong>will be the most serious outsiders. We\u2019ll have also to follow\u00a0<strong>Gianluca MARTINI (I \u2013 Yamaha)<\/strong> and<strong>Jonathan MANZI (I \u2013 Gas Gas)<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>On his side,\u00a0<strong>Pierre-Alexandre RENET (F \u2013 Husqvarna)<\/strong>, 2014 E2 World Champion, will have a lot to do with the trio\u00a0<strong>Alex SALVINI (I \u2013 Honda)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Johnny AUBERT (F \u2013 Beta)<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Antoine MEO (F \u2013 KTM)<\/strong>. They have 9 World titles to all four\u2026 But the Spanish\u00a0<strong>Oriol MENA (Beta)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Victor GUERRERO (KTM)<\/strong> and<strong> Jaume BETRIU (Husqvarna)<\/strong>, the Frenchies\u00a0<strong>Romain DUMONTIER (Yamaha)<\/strong> and<strong> Lo\u00efc LARRIEU (Sherco)<\/strong> but also the Italians\u00a0<strong>Nicolo MORI (KTM)<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Deny PHILIPPAERTS (Beta)<\/strong> can play the spoilers if they improved during the off-season.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>E3 <\/strong>class is more open than ever and must offer some nice fight between\u00a0<strong>Matthew PHILLIPS (AUS \u2013 KTM)<\/strong> and a tone of rivals leaded by\u00a0<strong>Ivan CERVANTES (E \u2013 KTM)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mathias BELLINO (F \u2013 Husqvarna)<\/strong>,<strong> Matti SEISTOLA (SF \u2013 Sherco)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Aigar LEOK (EST \u2013 TM)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Luis CORREIA (P \u2013 Beta)<\/strong>and<strong> Jeremy JOLY (F \u2013 KTM)<\/strong>\u2026 We will also attend to the nice performance of\u00a0<strong>Jeremy TARROUX (F \u2013 Sherco)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jonathan BARRAGAN (E \u2013 Gas Gas)<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Thomas OLDRATI (I \u2013 Husqvarna)<\/strong> in their debuts in the class but also to the come back on the foreground to\u00a0<strong>Manuel MONNI (I &#8211; TM) <\/strong>and to the confirmations of<strong> Antoine BASSET (F \u2013 Gas Gas)<\/strong>. The Top 10 will be tough to get in E3 this year.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, in the\u00a0<strong>Junior <\/strong>category, a duo composed of\u00a0<strong>Giacomo REDONDI (I \u2013 Beta)<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Jamie MCCANNEY (GB \u2013 Husqvarna)<\/strong> share the favors. But some young guns as<strong> Davide SORECA (I \u2013 Beta)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Diogo VENTURA (P \u2013 Gas Gas)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Alessandro BATTIG (I \u2013 Honda) <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Luis OLIVEIRA (P \u2013 Yamaha)<\/strong> can create the surprise\u2026 In the\u00a0<strong>FIM Youth Cup 125cc<\/strong>, the young Spanish\u00a0<strong>Josep GARCIA (E \u2013 Husqvarna) <\/strong>will be the only rider to be in Chile.\u00a0 He will look to grab a maximum of points but will have to keep an eye on the young Chilean who are willing to show that they have the World Championship level.<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0<strong>Grand Prix Acerbis of Chile<\/strong> is a much looked forward to event on the South American continent.
