Geen endurostage via Leo van der Kar fonds
Bron: KNMV. Vanuit NOC*NSF zijn er subsidiegelden beschikbaar om talentontwikkeling te bekostigen. Jaarlijks doet de KNMV hier een aanvraag voor. Aangezien de subsidiekraan ook grotendeels dichtgedraaid wordt heeft de KNMV een aanvraag voor een endurotrainingstage (voor jonge talentvolle endurorijders < 23 jaar) bij het sportfonds Leo van der Kar ingediend.
Uit de zestien ingediende aanvragen zijn er vier toegekend, helaas zat daar onze aanvraag niet bij. In het verleden hebben de motocross en de wegrace van dit sportfonds kunnen profiteren. Volgend jaar gaan we het opnieuw proberen!
EWC Griekenland: Meo and Nambotin Crowned World Champions
The Maxxis Enduro World Championship GP Maxxis of Greece ends in joy, as KTM’s Antoine MEOand Christophe NAMBOTIN are crowned world champions in Kastoria. With both riders claiming victory on day two in their respective classes, MEO secured the Enduro 1 World Championship while NAMBOTIN claimed the Enduro 3 World Championship. Moving one step closer to winning his first world title, Italy’s Alex SALVINI (Honda) won the Enduro 2 class while France’s Loic LARRIEU (Husaberg) recorded his debut EWC win with victory in the Enduro Junior category.
