Responsible for many Grand Prix in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010, plus the 2008 ISDE, LAMS Auto – Moto Club of Serresis finally back on track for the fourth Grand Prix of this season. Chaired by Giorgios “Colonel” VOUDOURIS, LAMS is well-known in the global motorsports community.

FIM-Europe: European Enduro Championship Second round in Croatia – Day 2

The second day of the European Enduro Championship in Buzet (Croatia) saw the victory of Tom Sagar, which was a surprise: in the narrow courses the smaller motorcycles should have had an advantage, but the British rider managed to win with his powerful 450cc KTM. “I had a very good feeling in the morning and I was able to take the lead”, he said.
The winner of the first day, Italian Maurizio Micheluz, finished in second position in the Overall standings.

2015 EK enduro, 30-31 mei, Buzet, Kroatië

Het EK enduro was voor de tweede wedstrijd in het Kroatische stadje Buzet neergestreken, midden in de heuvels van Istrië. Dat betekende drie ronden en ruim zeven uur per dag stenen, stenen en nog eens stenen. Elke watergeul en rivierbedding werd benut. In dat terrein hebben de Nederlanders het nog altijd zwaar. Ervaring telt dan. Dat liet “oude rot” Mark Wassink zien door na een paar jaar afwezigheid op het EK meteen naar een vierde en een zevende plaats te rijden; Wassink won eerder zilver op het EK.
E2 rijder Robin Nijkamp was iets sneller maar in de sterk bezette E2 klasse leverde dat slechts een negende en een twaalfde plaats op.
In de E1 waren het Lucas Dolfing en Thierry Pittens die elk een slechte dag afwisselden met een sterke achtste en negende plaats. Wesley Pittens reed een heel sterke tweede dag met een zesde plaats in de E3.
Nieuweling en ex-WK crosser, Nina Klink, tweede in de tussenstand bij de dames, moest wel heel erg wennen aan deze ondergrond. Maar met de tanden op elkaar overleefde ze de eerste dag waar ze wel strafminuten opliep op de route en op dag twee werd ze zelfs achtste met eenmaal een proefwinst op de tricky enduroproef.

The defending champion Maurizio Micheluz won the first day at the second round of the Enduro Championship in Buzet (Croatia).
Then Tom Sagar, who fought in second place more with the power of his KTM 450, as with the competition: “In the narrow routes it is very hard to get close to the small machines with the big bike,” said the Briton satisfied after the competition.
