Remes claims the win on day one of GP of Finland

eero.remes_EWC 2016 Rnd 4Doing exactly what many predicted he would, and his rivals hoped he wouldn’t, Eero REMES (TM) claimed EnduroGP class victory on day one of the GP of Finland. Fast and consistent throughout the day the defending Enduro 1 World Champion placed 24 seconds ahead of Britain’s Steve HOLCOMBE (Beta) with fellow Brit Nathan WATSON (KTM) rounding out the overall podium. REMES’ victory puts the Finn at the top of the EnduroGP championship standings.

FIM Women, Youth & Junior Enduro Training Camp 12-15 September 2016 – Najac (France)

2016pb06_fim_trainingThe FIM Enduro Commission, with the support of the French Federation (FFM), is organising a unique training camp for women, youth and junior Enduro riders from 12 to 15 September 2016 in Najac (France). 

FIM Enduro Commission Director Jean-Guillaume Meiller welcomes this initiative: “This training camp is an excellent opportunity for youngsters to prepare for the ISDE that will gather together the Enduro community for a week of exciting competition in October. The aim is to encourage more women and young people to practise and stay with Enduro, and the excellent facilities at the centre at Najac will certainly be a motivating factor for all participants.”

For the second time this season, a GP was ruled by rain and mud.

Super fast Finn Eero Remes secures EnduroGP win on day two of GP of Greece

TM_podium_EWC 2016 Rnd 3TM mounted Eero REMES has secured a second EnduroGP class victory at the GP of Greece, topping the second day’s overall results ahead of Johnny AUBERT (Beta) and Loic LARRIEU (Yamaha).  Fast from the start REMES topped the time sheets on each of the opening lap’s three special tests to take an early EnduroGP class lead. Battling his way to a second consecutive day win the defending Enduro 1 World Champion endured a tough second half to the day, forced to race with damaged suspension. Despite the less than perfect handling on his TM he nevertheless remained out front to claim victory.

Eero Remes tops EnduroGP on day one at the GP of Greece

endurogp.podium_EWC 2016 Rnd 3Finnish TM rider Eero REMES has claimed his first overall EnduroGP class win of 2016, topping day one of the GP of Greece in Grevena. Despite heavy rain throughout the day the defending Enduro 1 World Champion battled his way to the top of the overall results aboard his 250f machine before a stand-out performance on the final test of the day saw him claim a well-earned victory. Behind REMES enduro rookie Nathan WATSON rode his KTM to second overall with third going to Matt PHILLIPS (Sherco).
