Steve HOLCOMBE (Beta) put the finishing touches to a perfect weekend at round five of the Enduro World Championship by topping the overall EnduroGP results on day two of the GP Maxxis of Sweden in Enkoping. After finishing comfortably ahead at the end of day one, the young British rider was made to work hard for his victory on day two, eventually placing just three seconds ahead of Matt PHILLIPS (Sherco) with Johnny AUBERT (Beta) a strong third.

Victory for Holcombe on day one of GP of Sweden
Steve HOLCOMBE (Beta) has claimed his second overall EnduroGP winning result of the 2016 season, battling to a hard-fought victory on day one of the GP of Sweden in Enkoping. Putting his disappointing day two result at last weekend’s GP of Finland well and truly behind him he finished one-minute ahead of overall runner-up Matt PHILLIPS (Sherco). Third in EnduroGP went to Eero REMES (TM).

EnduroGP Sweden: EnduroGP Title All To Play For
Only one week after a very tough Grand Prix of Finland, the EnduroGP moves to Sweden and specifically Enköping for the fifth round of the season.
After a first organisation in 2014, the Göta MS – motorcycle och Snöskoter decided to try again and have the privilege of organising this second stage of the Scandinavian tour. For its part, the Svenska motorcykel – och Snösköterföbundet (SVEMO) will certainly mark the return of the Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship on his land in order to provide a large-scale event.

Phillips fights back to win GP of Finland day two
Kept from the top step of the EnduroGP podium on day one by Eero REMES (TM), on day two of the GP of Finland it was Matt PHILLIPS who topped the results after the Tasmanian ace blasted his way to an eventual nine seconds winning advantage. With little to separate REMES, PHILLIPS and Nathan WATSON (KTM) throughout the day, it was PHILLIPS who best matched speed with consistency to earn his third outright day win of the championship so far.
