Crowned the 2023 European Champions at the Borilli Enduro European Championship!

The 2023 Borilli Enduro European Championship has officially ended! A long season that, after crossing all over Europe crowned its champions for the current year. Under the same warm Saturday sun, the 24MX day 2 came to an end, thanks to the masterful supervision of the Motoclub organiser KTM Novi Korona. Also the European of Nations discovered its new champion for the 2023 season. The FIM Europe President, Michal Sikora attended the Championship Season Finale from its beginning, by seeing and supporting all the riders all day long, both in the special test and during the prize ceremony.

2023 EK Polen finale komt er aan
Met krap 100 deelnemers is het niet een heel slechte opkomst voor deze 4e ronde en finale van het EK 2023. De start is net als twee jaar geleden in Piekoszow, vlakbij Kielce. Proef 3 vlakbij het dorpje is ook op dezelfde plaats. Proef 1 en 2 en de TC met service zijn allemaal nieuw en verder ten westen van het dorp. Deze proeven worden na een extra lus nog een keer gereden en zo komen ze aan 5 proeven op een ronde van 105 km. Twee ronden per dag over een nog niet zichtbare route die zeker wel ook bosgedeelten kent. De proeven zijn droog en stoffig, iets glooiend soms en vooral op akkers waar het onkruid is weggemaaid en het beetje gras ook zo verdwijnt. In proef 2 lagen de oude poederwallen er nog dwars doorheen.
Voor Nederland hebben we Mike Bokslag (J2) en Ties Bennink (Youth) aan de start. Die hebben uiteraard alle proeven al uitgebreid bekeken. Lang lopen op de toch wel breed uitgezette en snelle proeven. De ondersteuning telt vanavond als het laatste vliegtuig is geland, zeven koppen. Waaronder de harde kern bestaande uit Henri Rikhof en Gerrit Naafs.

Five Titles awarded at the 2023 Borilli Enduro European Championship

A bubbly 24MX Round 4# Day 1 at the 2023 Borilli Enduro European Championship has just ended! Five are the titles awarded on this first day of competition. Under a beautiful sun the riders took part in a race, developed over two laps, within which they faced three different special tests, with a sandy bottom. Everything took place for the best under the watchful eye of KTM Novi Korona, motoclub who organised the event.

The Airoh Cross Test started the day, with its 6km length and its sandy bottom set up the quality standard of the tests. The riders then continued their race within the Eleveit Enduro Test; a test consisting of 8 km of corners within a vast field. It was the 24MX Test that closed the day, thanks to its 6 km in length and its hard pack decreed the winners of the day and also of the Championship.

European enduro: All set for the 24MX Round 4# in Kielce

The 2023 Borilli Enduro European Championship’s season finale is kicking off this weekend in the Polish city of Kielce-Piekoszov. Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September will therefore take place the 24MX Round 4#, which will not only see the European champions crowned for the current season but also the European Champions Nations. In fact, like every final race of the continental championship it is valid as a round of the European of Nations. The season got the ball rolling in the rainy Fabriano and then moved to sunny and dusty Portugal, just to make a stop in sandy Estonia in the middle of the summer. Three completely different Rounds that put a strain on the registered riders, asking them for great technical skills to face them in the best possible way. After Motocross Marketing, Eleveit and Airoh it’s time for 24MX, the most popular online store in off-road, to name the Continental Championship.

Vilde Holt wint EK Enduro in Estland

Vilde Holt van het WPM KTM Team heeft het Europees Kampioenschap Dames in Paikuse, Estland weten te winnen. Met een tweede en een eerste plaats op de dagen scoorde ze voldoende punten om met de eindzege naar huis te gaan.
De eerste dag begon niet zoals gehoopt. Vilde maakte teveel fouten waardoor er kostbare tijd verloren ging. Ondanks dit bleef ze hier rustig onder en vocht verder. Dit leverde haar nog een tweede plaats op waarmee ze haar kansen op de eindzege open hield.
De tweede dag verliep vele malen beter. Ze maakte geen grote fouten en reed sneller en sneller in de proeven. Ze wist de dag winnend af te sluiten en pakte hiermee tevens de eindzege.
